Queers in Carhartts began as a project run by the Shift Change team at the YWCA Halifax, supported by WAGE funding. We explored the lived experience of 2SLGBTQIA+ people working in the trades through a research report comprising surveys, in-person interviews, and an art show featuring works by 5 queer trades folks.
